The chart: candles, timeframes and drawings
Moving around the chart, changing timeframe, using the drawing tools and the right-click menu.
The candlestick chart is the heart of the platform: it shows the price of the chosen instrument and hosts indicators, levels and your own drawings.
Moving around the chart
- Drag horizontally to scroll time; the wheel zooms.
- The time axis and the crosshair are shared with the sub-charts: when you hover a candle, the other views line up.
- The timeframe (one minute, say) sets how much “time” each candle represents.
Drawing tools
From the toolbar you can draw:
- trend lines, rectangles, regression channels;
- Fibonacci (with the OTE zone and highlightable levels);
- text, arrows, price ranges, volume profile.
Drawings are saved per instrument and timeframe and remember the last style used, so a new shape is born with the look you prefer. A drawing’s settings open with a double click.
Tip: you can save style templates and set a default template for each type of drawing, so you never redefine the colours twice.
Right-click menu
Right-clicking the chart opens a quick menu (the “Chart” section) with the most frequent actions on the view.
Levels and indicators on the chart
Beyond manual drawings, the chart can show automatic levels (ICT sessions, option levels, VWAP) and indicators from the library (📊). The guides for individual indicators are in the Indicators category; for the order flow drawn on the candle see the Footprint.
