ICT: Killzone and sessions
The key time windows of the day and the session-open levels.
In the ICT method a few time windows concentrate most of the useful movement. Konsole draws them on the chart so you do not have to work them out in your head.
Killzone
Highlights the “hot” time windows on the chart:
- Asia, London, NY AM, NY PM and the Silver Bullet (a short, closely watched window).
- How to read it: each killzone is a coloured vertical band at the matching time.
- Parameters: you can switch each window on or off and change its colours.
ICT session levels
Draws the opening lines of the key moments of the day:
- Midnight, London Open, London Cash, NY Open, NY Cash.
- How to read it: horizontal lines at each moment’s opening price, used as references through the session.
Note: the times follow the New York time zone. A daylight-saving preset that applies the right offset automatically is in the works.
