Backtest and replay
Replaying a session, and what to expect from the backtest today.
The platform lets you review a session that is already loaded, useful for studying, with a cool head, what actually happened.
Replay
The ⏵ REPLAY command replays the bars already loaded in the chart: you move time forward as if the session were unfolding again. It is the right tool for stepping through a move and reasoning about the order-flow and gamma conditions at that moment.
Note: today replay works on the data already present in the chart. It is not yet an on-demand history download.
Historical GEX
The ⏳ HISTORICAL GEX command reconstructs the GEX and the options flow of a past session, so you can review how that day’s gamma levels formed. The guide Historical GEX and Vol Lab covers it in detail.
Backtest, where it stands
The deterministic backtest engine (which replays events reproducibly) exists and is tested at the core of the system. It is not yet exposed through a dedicated screen, nor with on-demand historical downloads: both are planned. For now, to review a session, use Replay and Historical GEX.
